My ice season started out with crappie on Christmas eve, i was out fishing lakers in the open water just the day before.
It took a while for quinte ice to come in this year so i kept myself entertained with pike and panfish. While i was away in early January for a few days it was -20 with no snow on the ice and we went from 3 to 8 inches in the area i was fishing in a matter of days and i started my season out being able to ride out on my sled which is rare for quinte where normally we are spudding for several weeks. We had a fun season chasing migratory walleye around the bay with clients with several personal bests hitting the ice. This was one of the best seasons for ice we have had on quinte in years so it was great to see people a little more spread out on the bay, though theres always that guy that sets up beside you when no one else is around.
I wrapped up my season by going for a little laker hunt for walleye closer and have been going out for some pike and panfish the last couple weeks.
We still have a surprising amount of ice left so this might not be the last of the ice fishing but I'm ready to get the boat and start the open water season.

Looks like you had an awesome ice season!
I need to get out to Quinte some time myself, maybe next year...
