In need of a Dunnville update

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hey Hound, shoot Packrat a PM. He fishes the dam there quite regularly and can probably give ya a good report.

I can answer that I'm Packrat's son I am usually with him.... the fishing down there has been spotty of late... last Sunday I did manage to get a nice channel cat off the bridge.... we didn't see much else being caught but then we were there during the day.... there have been reports of pickerel being caught at night.... can't confirm that as I haven't done that shift down there.

However we have seen the odd trout go sailing over the dam...

I went to Dunville on Sept 21st. I picked up a 2 lb channel cat. Alot of boats by the dam. Never seen anyone land anything. I went in the morning. I was able to chat with regulars and they indicated that evening is better (5:30 pm and on). I also trolled, jiged, used warm harness and cranks.
