Launch Information

Does anyone happen to have any information on a launch at Cartier Park in downtown Ottawa? I'm interested in fishing the area by Parliament Hill, and would like to launch around there. Any information on possible launches would be helpful, i.e. public/private, cost, seasonal availability.

There is a launch at the end of Blair Rd. It is a bit rocky and you would require two people but it is free and it is close to that stretch of the river you want to check out. There is no dock there but there is plenty of parking area.

You might want to check out the Upper and Lower Duck Islands and the mouth of Grays Creek .... good lunge hanout.

I believe it is the Aylmer Marina, which is just on the Quebec side right across from the parliament hill. Don't know if the docks are still in or not, or what they would charge.
