Muskie fishing on Thursday

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Muskie fishing on Thursday

Post by CDF »

Haven't put the boat away yet...so if I can arrange for daycare on Thursday, I'm planning to head out to the Rideau for and try for some muskie. Weather looks to be good...high of 12 with some light rain (but you know how the forecast can change from now to then).

No luck trolling, so would like to try that quick-strike live bait technique. Seems to be the way to go.

So who's interested?

I'm new to Muskie fishing, so new in fact, I haven't been yet! But I am eager to learn. What is this rig style that you mentioned :?: My little boat is away so I'm into the info gathering mode.
Thanks for any info you can pass on
