OUR VIRTUAL DERBY COPIED

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Come on guys!! :) This is only for fun. We are not earning our life on a virtual fishing derbie. Keep everything on perspective.

I wish to all of my friends fisherman a Happy Christmas and a excellent New year with a lot of fishing stories.

I,m sure we will be meeting sometimes next year; either on Lake Ontario for big Chinook or on BOQ for big walleyes.

I like the idea of having a fun competition between the two communities in some derby maybe sometime in the summer (I believe Markus mentioned this in the Quebec board... if i can read french correctly). 8)

Yes that could be a lot of fun
Fish-Hawk members are the same as Quebec-Pêche except the language. We are avid fisherman that just want to have fun and share infos, make new fishing friends etc... Those forums really help to build a new community and create new bonds.

Hello there,

I am one of the captain in the Derby on QuebecPeche....

A one month Derby between us would be great.....Let Markus & Trout Machine build a 8 members team from each site, same rules, and let it roll.....could be very nice surprises.....

Oh yes, Merry Christhmas to all

Wow eveytime I find these Quebec forums, it turns my stomach upside down. LOL

There is a guy out there who is putting together a muskie school and from his avatar has a lot to learn about muskies himself. I wonder how come the muskie fishing is so good in Quebec as all I see on their boards is frightening.

Last site I was on (guy from Gatineau) their muskie expert killed fish.

BTW that looks like a hell of a busy site.
Catch and release them all

This sounds fun.

I'll start working on a format. 8 anglers per team will work. Photo's will be mandatory. Well will announce at the time of the derby a common object that will have to appear in your photo's....this will help date the photo.

We will make our team of 8. And you make yours.

I'm thinking a May-Aug time frame. 3 fish/category. Any team member can cull a top 3 fish.

We'll decide on a species list together.

What do you think?

Maybe the loser could post the other sites banner on their homepage for a month or something like that?

Hey Trout Machine,

Give er bud! The more the merrier. I think it's a great idea for you to start a Virtual Derby on your site. It's a lot of fun, it brings Angler's together from all walks of life and allows an opportunity to make some great friends.

I don't support some of the comments posted here. Myself and FishHawk will encourage your Derby and perhaps we can have a lot of fun together.

la gelinotte...could be a great idea. I like seeing more cooperation between sites so that everyone, whether they are english speaking, french speaking, chineese speaking or spanish can benefit from the information, conversation, and camraderie from all. In the end, what's important is that we have fun and improve our angling skills.

Have a great and safe holiday season.

:D

Thanks Bobber....

Those are the kind of answer I love to see....my kind of exchange...

Markus...maybe I am going to fast here again....not that I would not like a Derby between are site.....you should contact Trout Machine...this would be a great event....I know for sure that Trout, is going back north to Nunavik for two months starting from August....We are just starting that Derby for the first time in 2005....We are going to learn probably the hard way...but we got a great gang of fishermens in are group....So far we are over 95 inscriptions....Lets Rock&Roll...hahahahahaha

For TrophyMuskies....I dont see what is the problem with Attirail, he is the guy who is going to give seminar on Muski Fishing....He is practicing 100% of cath & release with muskies.....and a hell of a good fisherman and person....

And if we have the chance to meet some of you on the water some place....well I own a 20ft. All white Prosports with Honda on the back....give me a shout, would be proud to have a chat with you guys....

Have a Nice Day....

Well my friend Gelinotte as reply splendidly..so glad he is my friend!

I dont say no to your excellent suggestion of going head to head in a epic friendly battle, we will see how it goes and then why not!

Bobber thank for your kind word, there is a common bond with fisherman like the Knight of Columbus something universal ...The Love of the outdoor and Fishing!
Internet is a small world like once said wallyandré

Long live Fish Hawk net and Québec Pêche!

for Markus
Maybe the loser could post the other sites banner on their homepage for a month or something like that?
I don't own Québec Pêche the site as been crafted by Benoît Bayard, so it would be hard for me to take promise I can keep!

But who know's!
