aqua view scout

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

aqua view scout

Post by pikeie »

hey i have been looking at the aqua view scout. one question for anybody who has one is can u use these ice fishing. the reason i ask this is because with there being not a lot of light under the ice i want to know if u can still see the fish and structure. it has Infrared light and i dont think that will be enough. thanks for any help.

I've seen some video done with Aquavus thru the ice....you'd be surprised how bright it is down there!

I think it would be fine...

seriously thinking about one for next ice fishing season.

It would be nice to attach one to a downrigger ball as well

I agree with RJ, there are quite a few vid clips going around under ice specifically. Light doesn't seem to be a problem. Now, how deep you can record is another thing :!:
