Anyone going to Mississippi Lake Derby - Feb 12?

Fish-Hawk and Bobber you guys still owe me a breakfast from standing me up last year... I would settle for sharing a shack or portable with you guys for this... what do you think?

You missed a later post Seaweed - I can't make this derby - I'm going to The Rock on Tuesday and won;t be back unitl following Tuesday. But I'll let ya know how the fishing was for speckles.

And yer never gonna let us live down our decision to spend breakfast with our wives and children last Mother's day, are you.

It was the safest choice I ever made.

Hey,

It's great to see that alot of you guys will be out next Saturday for our 3rd Annual. If we haven't met you yet please introduce yourself as a fellow Hawk Talker!
We usually hold this event this weekend but decided to do it a week later this year in the hope of getting better weather. Mother Nature fooled us again. For those of you who have not yet attended a Bait Caster's tournament event the wind usually blows! If we could get a day like today the crowd would be huge!

Just bumping this back up so that we all remember to hit the Mississippi on Saturday.

This derby is a lot of fun, cheap and supports a good cause too boot.

I plan on hitting the hard water and checking this out again this year.

Bear, great to hear u caught a pig of a perch. 1.22 is huge. Glad to see u got the last door prize and I hope eveyone was able to participate in that. I was the guy who the old drunk man wouldn't let in the door. Glad to see Crystal hired a bouncer . Cheers
