Buckhams Report Feb 23

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Buckhams Report Feb 23

Post by RJ »

Hopped out after work to spend the night at the shack with MuskiMagnet....

We were onto the perch right away....Good ol vex!...

As nightfall came....the walleyes moved in....Magnet got one about 12 inches...then I lost one on the edge of the hole... :x ....Magnet nabbed his first decent one of the year....most have been tiny...this one was a nice change...

Then the horror came...   ...I feel a bit of dead weight on my line....he starts laughing....puppy!...   ...I set the hook.....nuttin'... :x

2 seconds later....he's got one on....Puppy!...first one I've ever seen....I was kinda freaked out by it to be honest....they are freakin weird!...

Here's a few pics....freakin thing was walking back to the hole!

Do those puppies have teeth??

Never seen one but they do kind of freak me out by just looking at it. Call me squeamish but I don't know if I would let one walk around on my hands.

It's just a salamander. My kids love them and play with them for hours.
