In line Planner Boards (Church)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

In line Planner Boards (Church)

Post by big-o »

Just thought I would let every one know that Bait Casters has Church inline planner boards at their store.... these inlnes are almost impossible to get Up here (Ottawa Area) After using RoughRiders last Fall on Quintie, I would say these boards are the best on the market... Roughrider came with six i think...and left with four, Thanks RR :D  , I'll be picking up a couple of sets, ...I would think these will sellout Fast

What is the difference between the Walleye board and the TX24...?
Church tackle does not explain the difference, even the price is the same.

The TX 24 & the Walleye Board are the exact same thing, just a different name.

At least that's what I've always thought??

Have mine too! Bought two of them at the Bass Pro Shops in Florida. But it's nice to know we can now get them here. :D

They're on my list of "must have's" .. i don't do much planer boarding but i'll have a pair or two by the fall for those quinte eye's. The church boards are the way to go.. great design.

The Best thing about the church Board is that if you look at the Picture below..on the back of the board there is a pin ,you lift the pin up put the line behind the pin and let the pin go, now you can't lose the board, plus on the bottom of the board there is a weight that you can adjust, buy sliding the wieght forward or back, this way you can adjust for the size of lure you are using(deep diver ,where there is more drag on the back of the board) or lets say you are using lead core....you adjust wieght forward, that way the board will be running ture or level in the water, I'm sure RoughRider can add to the proper use of these boards, he has been using them for a long time :D I plan to use them trolling the weed lines this summerfor eyes and pike

Maybe Church Tackle knew the Salmonoid anglers would never buy a board with Walleye on it :D :D :D

I did notice my walleye boards have a patent number...so no other companies could copy the design, so maybe they had to come up with a trade name to protect the patent? Just a guess

cheers'
