my new toy!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

i went down to the local marina the other day to try it out and i could not belive the fish. i saw probly 30 perch, lost count at 20 suckers they all came in at once, and a pike. it was vary cool to see the fish come inches away from the camara. and u could watch your lures in action and see how the fish responded to the action you gave them.

Cool toy Pikie,

I was looking at the one at the Carp show. I think it was the baitcaster's booth! Fishing's getting too complicated :!:

Any idea how far you can see in relatively clear water :?:

Pikies off studying ( or most likely reading fishing mag) :)

We could see clearly for about 6 feet and shadows beyond to maybe 10' , the marina is murky at the best of times .Info with camera claims you will see 2 - 3 times farther than you can with naked eye.
Picture quality is extremely good , it was pretty wild to see a school of 20+ suckers swim by within inches of the camera

I have seen them as high as $399 Pikie picked his up in GTA for $294

It has an infa red light , it actually works but we haven't tried it at night yet.

Camera itself seems pretty tough the cable is most likly the weak spot.

Should be entertaining if nothing else

COOL!

Have fun with it. I've seen those advertised before and I'm intrigued by them. I'll bet you'll see some amazing fish swimming around this year! Let us know!

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

We use those things for plumbing. Although they have more chord and are like 5000 dollars more LOL. But its so neat being able to see underwater. Of course ours are for drains, I'm dying to test it in the water. I heard some good reviews on those models that you purchased. Do you think the fish on the bottom makes a big difference over the original camera head that they used to use?

My guess is it's just a gimmick :!: Although shaped like a fish, maybe they don't spook as easily :!:
