Well the lakes in Calabogie are open and the specks are biting. We stopped at a few lakes and all were open for buisness.

Which one of those lakes have the easiest access? I'd like to bring my canoe into one of those sometime and try my luck.

St.Pierre Lake and Shiner have very easy access. They are both right off the paved road. Both are stocked annually St.Pierre is specks and Shiner is Rainbow.
