Greetings........
I just bought a little 16 1/2 foot Lowe fishing boat and trailer and was wanting to know exactly what papers (ownership or otherwise) should I be carrying at all times while afloat.
Thanks.......

I'm planning on carrying, My fishing License, Registration and insurance for the boat.
I hope that is enough.

Depending on your age, it may also be necessary to have an operators card.

Don't forget the trailer registration. Keep this handy in the tow vehicle. It isn't necessary to carry this in the boat.
Like Steve G and Spinner said, vessel license, fishing license, operators card, and insurance should be in the boat.
