Where can I fish for big pikes in Ontario!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ottawa River Pike

We have had great success (luck??) this year so far on the Ottawa River out of Petawawa. We have 3 over 22 lbs and 4 over 17 lbs - really black backs on them.

This past weekend, there was a pike event on (same one J Barker was in) and we did not compete in it. Go figure - we land a 21 and a 11 lb - man the sure did suck knowing that we may have won some $$.

Pike fishing is only filler time until bass (LOL).

Do you guys know if I could rent a boat in Petawawa?

Same thing for White Lake and Clayton (or is it Carleton?)

And the Ottawa River is la Rivière des Outaouais no?
