I didn't get a chance to fish too many new bodies of water this past year (in Ontario), but one stands out in my mind and that is Charleston Lake. We'll DEFINITELY return there. What a big, beautiful and diversified lake it is! We loved it.
In NY we got out on a few new lakes, but nothing that exciting. Fourth Lake in the Adirondacks was very scenic, but surprisingly busy.
One day, I'd like to join my brother on his excursions to Buckhorn Lake; but even moreso, Nipissing and Nosbosing (pardon my spelling?).
A closer timeline goal would certainly include an outing on the Ottawa River at some point in the next year. I don't know diddly about river fishing, but seeing all the fantastic fish coming out of there, I realize what a rich fishery it is.
Lastly, any new lakes around my usual stomping grounds are always fun to check out. I'm not too particular, as there are gazillions to pick from. Hopefully, next year we'll squeeze in a few more than this year.
