Niagara Bar - Dec 1st - Laker Opener

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Markus,

Sorry to hear about your opener, it's pretty tough fishing in mud.
Kind of surprised me, usually the Markus reports are loaded with monster fish pics.
Unless I'm mistaken, you'll nail em next time, for sure !
Nice day to be out any how.
Keep up the good work.

(:D sorry I just couldn't resist :P)

Everybody has their bad days.
At least you gave it an honest effort.
Skunking is something that I can relate to!
You guys have my respect for just giving it a go in tough conditions like those.

Right now I can't even fish with the closed season here on everything.
It's totally killing me to walk by that river everyday.
Could have been a lot worse of a day though.
Hope you have better luck next time you hit the river.

river looks to be clearing. :D im heading there for saturday and sunday with my cousin. if it was mud yesterday, there's about 1 to 1 1/2ft visibility today. if the bar is messed then there's always the river :) hope to see some faces out.

Before you go again Markus, give me a call and I'll give you some tips of when I used to fish the Niagara.

I find that any bit of info helps, and it really might help on those days when a skunk looks like it might rear it's ugly head.
