Those are both huge
There's no way, though, that the pike that was used as "bait" in the first picture, is 36 inches. No way.
I don't believe all the stories of giant pike and muskies biting off 5 and 6lb fish on their way to being boated. I believe it happens (and it's happened to me) but I don't believe that the fish being bitten off are nearly that big.

Giant PIKE will eat a fish up to 20% of its body weight..
do the math...
A pike that could swallow a 36-inch fish, would have to be ~70inches in length.
Whatever, you want to believe it, go a head. Me, I'll believe it when I see it.
First pic doesn't look doctored and a fish of a lifetime catch. The 2nd posted by Bobber looks like a pretty bad photoshop job, could be wrong though but doesn't look right to my trained eye, which can spot silicone implants from at least 2" away.
I worked on a former nhl hockey players summer cottage once. He had a large pike on the wall and in its mouth a smaller one. He told me that his grandfather has cought the smaller pike and as he was bringing it in the larger fish attacked the smaller one.
That reminds me of the time when a good friend of mine caught his limit in the BOQ with one cast. He landed a fish that was attached to a stringer full of others.
Last summer my daughter caught a sunfish, and as she was reeling it in,...... BANG...A nice nice pike hit it, we ended up with both fish! Quite the thing to see!
