Anyone know what this lure is?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

A blast from the past. I remember my dad buying a kit of these things. My first experience with the "As seen on TV" label. The day they arrived, my dad opened them and, looking a little sheepish remarked that he couldn't believe he actually bought them. He did try them, but to the best of my knowledge, he never got a hit on one.

They did look better in the ad then they did in your hand, that's for sure.

Deff give that a cast into deep water for the fun of it then store away! I remember snapping this lure in all hole positions and it was incredible the pull this lure gave!

Alot of times i couldnt tell if a fish was on, or it was just the lure action. Was that weird to try. Makes me wonder now what happened to mine :!:
Did you ever catch anything on it? So far, several people said they've tried it but to no avail.

Nothing that i remember. I didnt like the action from it,so i didnt use it long enough to see. I remember it being hard on the reel i was using at the time, then again my lure was bit bigger also.

If i had it today id deff give it a try for longer! Just expect alot of pull from it if using a light line and rod,can just imagine how it feels with a fish on!.

Let me know how you do with it :)

Hey there ShotgunRiderRob!

I see that you are in Perth. Well, if you find that old lure and bring it to the arena this weekend for the gun show, I will swap you "something" off my table for it! 8)

Too bad, I thought I might like to try one out, might have to make one out of a coffee can lid or something...

I will have two tables along the North wall of the arena, a bit more than half way down towards the west end. If you are also on Gun Nutz, I am Doug there too, and I look like my avatar (beard, long hair, black Gun Nutz t-shirt, camo ball cap. Please stop by and introduce yourself.

There is actually a fair bit of fishing stuff displayed at this show most years as well (says he, getting more or less back on topic...)
