Fish of the Jock River?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hey Mick,
I know Bowzog was just joshin'. Soon the water levels will drop and the fury that is me will be unleashed on that river and its unsuspecting inhabitants.

I grew up fishing the Jock and have fished every inch of it...but haven't in years...

One thing I'll add.....I highly suggest not eating anything from the Jock River....The farm run-off is atrocious...never mind the sewage pipe from Munster to Richmond that has already leaked directly into the river....

Sadly....once summer gets on...the water level drops...as does flow....and it can get pretty nasty looking after awhile...
