SITE SLOWNESS

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Seabass, I'm a little scared to do that!

Hopefully things are better now. I've been pounding on these guys for a while now, not only for this site but the other 2 sites I run as well. They're all experiencing problems. It seems that this provider runs a shared load balanced server type of model and keeps making changes to "improve" things. While these changes actually do work, they are very painful at the beginning until they tweak things.

One other thing that may be experienced by some showing the site slow while other showing it as being fast, of for those who still see slowness, try "clearing you cache and deleting your temporary files and cookies" within your brower. (if you know how to do that, if not, just do a search on the Internet to find out how. It's pretty simple). These things sometimes cause slowness at the PC level. I'll continue to monitor and make sure the performance remains OK.
