ARRGGHH more pre opening day problems

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Markus

what can I say, the g spot comment left me with a ruptured gut I was laughing so hard.

If I was posting those types of comments about my wife, a paddle upside the head would be the least of my concerns if she read them.

See ya at Muskrat.

"A" for effort, I guess.......??!!

Trim problems

Post by bass ackwards »

If you disconnect the switch and it still does it, it would be damaged wires, if ithe problem goes away it's the switch.

good luck

Opening Day Mechanics

Post by Seaweed »

Well

New boat needed new plugs... found this out half-way across Mississippi Lake heading for Baitcasters on One Cylinder ..... got new plugs and whamo back in business. My point... do maintenance work on new boats despite shiny nice new feeling you get around new toys.... better check the oil and bottom end grease too.

Oil was low

Bottom end was ok.... Thank God

Oh Yeah by the way.... must put kill switch in proper position to make boat run too.... try this before you phone the previous owner at 7am and wake him up.... Sorry Paul.

New machine ran sweeeeeeeeet ...... Bring on the bass season.

So far so good. Got the boat unbwrapped and the motor started. ONly ptoblem was forgot to put choke back in after it fired up. Well at least it started after stitting all winter and after I winterized it. Tires have been checked, battery has been charged and conditioned.

Next weekend check wheel bearings ,launch and troll for pike and wallys .

WHEEEEE!
