Big Fish Tale from the Winnipeg River

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fish

Seeing it on here is one thing, getting it sent to my email is another! I dont how many times this thing as been sent to me from some distant relative, friend or acquaintence that have heard I like to fish! It has been sent to me at least 30 times in some email thread or another. Everytime it is a different lake with a different story! lol It is a great fish, but the sight of it now makes me almost want to puke! lol

After seeing these same photos posted locally at the LCBO in Dunrobin, theres no doubt it was caught on the Ottawa...Constance bay. I made the mistake last time by reporting that the monster was caught on Mc Lauren Bay, Gatineau. My sincerest appologies for causing any confusion.

I have no idea where that beastie was caught but I'm green with envy. Anyone know how old a fish like that would be? At that size it's gotta be a female but I think the males may be a bit intimidated with her come the spring !
