What have you given to the fish

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

i lost an evinrude 7.5 once....... it flipped off the back after i had asked my brother to mount it.......

i guess i should have told him to tighten it on as well.....

it was in 32 feet of water got a mask and a rope and retrieved it later that afternoon.....

other than that i have lost numerous spinners..... one pair of polarised oakleys, oh and a really nice leatherman multitool.

Years ago, I was fishing with my son in Joe's Lake, way back in Lanark County, shortly after the bass opener. He hooked a really nice largie, but it broke him off, making off with his prized blue-backed orginal Rapala. That was the end of a treasured lure. But then ...
Months later, we were out looking at the October leaf show when we stopped at the boat launch at the other (upstream) end of the lake to have lunch. We walked down to the lake, and there, hung up in a mat of floating weeds, was the lost Rapala. That was at least 10 years ago and we're still catching fish on that lure.
