I know too well the dangers surrounding winter activity and just how fast everything can escalate.
My condolences.

A horrible accident, and while helping someone else. He sounded like a really kind person. May he have a direct ticket "up", with no need to stop along the way.
So sorry for all his loved ones.

This really saddens me.....for something so completely preventable to lead to someones death is a senseless waste....
My thoughts are with the family, friends, the emergency crew that has to go retreive him today and last but not least the folks who own the shack...I can't imagine having to live with that....tough on everyone when accidents happen.

Hey Guys , I just heard that they have recovered his body. I'm glad that they were able to recover it now and not have to wait until spring. The family can have closure.

My condolences to his family sounds like the fishing community lost a good one. Play safe boys and girls for the remainder of the hard water season.
