I said on the mississippi. Do I need to say where no. Some said Rideau some said other places. Cool. Nice to know. Thats all the question is asking. You know what ? Here's a little thing to remember. You can be fishing right beside somebody else, on his "special spot" or yours you could both be throwing the same lure etc etc.......and you might not catch a thing while the other guys is killing them !

My spot or yours, your lures or mine the slightest difference between two casts or the direction of the lure or ANY other of the 10,000,000 factors of fishing can make a huge difference.

And why not FOR THE SAKE OF FISHING aren't we telling each other all about our fishing experience(s) ?? All about our lures, techniques, our special spots ?? Or how we fish a weed bed or a stump field ?? This is what it's all about share the knowledge and share the wealth !

Hazard, theres a good chance ill be on the mississippi as well! I'll be in a blue boat with my dad. I'll keep an eye out for you!
One suggestion dont waste so much time defending your posts, it's not worth it! As you can see some people on this site wait for opportunities to jump all over others.
I also have a suggestion for kuno but I'll keep it to myself as my mother always told me "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say nothing at all".

I know everyone has their favourite lake and or their favourite spot.

But there is no way anyone can just launch their boat into YOUR favourite lake and do as well as you can. Considering YOUR favourite lake is likely where you fish most often (for years), then it would follow that you have combed that lake shore to shore and season after season, using this lure and that.

Its very unlikely anyone can duplicate your fishing patterns in one day what you have taken years to make.

You're either out fishing alone........A LOT.......or you have a giant file folder at home full of signed non-disclosure agreements from all your fishing buddies ?

Teach, learn, experience. That's what it's all about. Get it ? I hope.
