Access to Lac Bernard

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Nice lake. I was in there today and also few weeks back. I live less than 5 minutes from it... and these were the first times in it fishing.

Can't say I am going to go nuts to get back into it...

The lake association should concentrate on cleaning up all the dilapidated buildings, gas cans, old cars, septic runoff, wake boats, propane tanks and just plain garbage impacting their shore line rather than trying to wall themselves into their lake.

Just one question; if it is gated, how would the police ever get in to check on their places?

:roll:

One other thing... perhaps the next time Lac Bernard lake association is getting together, between the bingo and back slapping for keeping the unwashed out of YOUR lake, they could decide to get the locals on their side. The best way to do it is to stop having their snot nosed punk 16 year olds driving Mom and Dads SUV on our road going Mach 4 with the base loud enough to hear from Kazz... They could also do a spring cleaning every year in our ditches picking up the garbage and beer bottles and pop cans and McDonalds wrappers you cottagers throw from your car windows every spring.

Maybe then, the next time I see one of your cottages getting robbed or catching fire I might actually give a crap and call the cops.

How 'bout it?

Hi Spiker;
Welcome, and continue to look and add as you please.
I look forward to your placements.
Caution, before you place, but in most. people are nice here on this site.
Glad to have you as part of our group of stinkers!

CPrince; Sorry about the road and shoreline, I heard you the very 1st time.
Kids! And adults too!!! But in the end, both you and I know that lake is hard to access and that really makes people mad.
Too bad so sad, I say, learn to "Why, because the group of people who have own property around the lake for more than 70 years want to respect the lake and share it with their loved ones.
Again, there is always a way. Show your enthusiasm and ask!"
