Holy Moly Steve,
that has got to be 18lbs of pure excitement.
Do not ever share that lake, in public! You actually should rename it, "Moonshine Lake". :D

Steve and I are actually going to a couple of Moonshine Lakes within the next 2 weeks.......Moonshine Lake X, Moonshine Lake XX and Moonshine Lake XXX all in that order!!

Given the dimensions I'd say that Laker was around 13lbs...

Nice fish there 'shine , better to let the big girls go I think , they don't taste as good ?

We were camping at 31 this weekend , 2 nights , and the fishing was tough , blazing sun . But the 2 lakers worth talking about were at 109 and 125ft !!! My rigger only has 100' of cable so you can guess who got the keeper . But I did get a nice white fish , first one we ever kept , thought they were big smelts or something and tossed them back before ? 1 laker was 49.99 cm's and went back , it was soo close , the other was 54 so it is now in town as we got it this morning .But they were deep up there , I will have to buy a longer cable . I used to fish that lake at 24-30 ft most of the season and catch lakers but they have gone deeper this year it seems . But the camping was excellent !
