This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I was there with my dad about 3 weeks ago and we got skunked (which rarely happens to my dad on the Nipigon River). We figured they maybe hadn't run up that far yet. The water was so shallow that we could not get the tinny past the shoal near the orange Boat Busters, to get into the big back eddy where most of our success comes.

Tight lines!
Ya I caught those guy down by the rock island. Was out this evening and wasn't even marking any thing on the sonar...Guess we'll have try in the morning. Did you run up the river from your dad's camp? (Polly)
Hrmmm... my dad's camp is at Northern Lights Lake, not anywhere near the Nipigon River.

We trolled from the shoal just below the Alexander damn, down just past the little feeder creek a few hundred yards downstream. Marked two or three (back 3 weeks ago) on the sonar but no smashes by any salmon or bows. :(

My dad's got a 16' Lund tiller with a 25(?) Merc on the back. pretty tall guy with a goatee, kinda like me. LOL. Silver Toyota Tundra. If you see him, say hi and that you know me (Eric) from here! :)
