Never mind!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Personally... I think the donating it to Cancer or Kids charity or whatever is an excellent idea. God forbid somebody try and do something good for someone else.

For F**k sakes can a guy not just organize a fun day with a little wager involved.

This is pathetic people.

Matt.. Don't try and bring anglers together for a fun weekend. It's really bad idea. You probably wouldn't have any fun or catch any fish. Heaven forbid you put a wager on it.

I think this event as well as the Mississippi event should be cancelled. I'm going to email the FLW.. they should probably stop those big organized events where people over run by greed are cheating.

Maybe you should oraganize one of those rockbass derbies like some cottage associations and campgrounds do and kill as many fish as possible.

As Much as I'd like to go, I'll be hunting mode. I'll join slop in 2018 when the fish recover.

Shame on you Matt.

Something to keep in mind is insurance. Whoever organizes the tournament no matter how insignificant the entry fee could potentially be sued if there are any accidents.

Just something to think about.

Seriously interested. I've been talking about this all summer as I've never fished those bodies of water and I'm also in the frame of mind that this needs to be a 2-3 day fish.

Even though I couldn't participate, I think that this is a great idea, someone somewhere will have a problem with no matter how its done. Its always good to get out and meet people. Especially when it is with like minded people.

Welcome to the good guy always finishes last Matt, don't let a few spoil it for the majority.

Keep doing good and you will be rewarded, I know exactly how that feels right now. :D

If I'm available that weekend I'll be glad to go.

I like the idea it's just the cash payday I don't care for.

10 or 15 bucks could cover the cost of a cheap annual trophy (change location every year if it works out) and an evening Barbecue
