As for cold weather and the touch screen - can't comment on that. I will let you know what I find out over the next couple of months...

I thought that bass was OVER 5 lbs, Justin! WOW!! Congrat's to your Dad, who is certainly getting some time on the water with you -- excellent!
Great report -- I know that when I open one of your threads, there are always some fantastic fish to see / read about.
As for the fawn, I saw a very young one swimming across a large section of water on Wolfe Lk. over the summer. It was kind of disturbing, because it looked way too small to be separated from its mother, at least by a lake. I imagine something drove it into the lake, but anyway, similar to what you did, we shadowed it at a distance and watched 'til it made it to shore, where it was too exhausted to even climb up the banks. It seemed to gain some strength as it rested. Anyway, I've seen plenty of deer swim, but not one as young as that -- but it seems you witnessed the same thing. Hope both little guys had a happy ending...
