A less Violent Approach would be to simply change the channel............or just turn the T.V. off

More so because that Birdee character seems to land some big fish on our local waters.
Thanks MLR....I'll let Birdee know!
There are way worse shows than Mariko's.

She has her own show because of her last name, not besause of her journalistic excellence.

a more violent approach would be to put a slug in the 12 gauge.

if you are like me , you watch fishing shows for tips, techniques, whats new in gear, then Mariko is not the show to watch.
all the other shows will make you a better fisherman, even Italo who I consider a good and knowlegable fisherman and great educator.
I watch Italo even though I find it hard to listen to his "Mr. Rogers" type of dialog
we have come a long way in fishing shows since Red Fisher did his show
so enjoy and learn,
good fishing to all

What about our own beloved Ashley Rae?

I remember last winter she did a wicked job of catching walleye on the BOQ. She can fish.

There was a really crappy show a while back by some lady who called herself a "professional fisher". Obviously shot by her husband's production company.
Never actualy saw her catch a fish and spent most of the time hawking her outdoorwear and videos on travel destinations...
It was at the end of the saturday morning lineup. on global....awful show...always wondered why it was on tv...

SeaMonster - you mean Kathryn Maroun from "What a Catch". She did go to some pretty awesome places sometimes but there was something that just bugged me about her too. A bit hoity toity for this guy!

Yeah Yeah... that's it!
Nice destinations, but I just couldn't wait all show for her to catch a fish without losing patience. Hoity toity ... you got that right.
