How do you think this weather will affect the ice?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Good to know guys. Clayton is one of the lakes I want to fisk this year.
A half hour ride with a coffee in hand is perfect.

I've been wanting to get out on Clayton as well. Is there public access to the ice?
May the holes in your net be
no larger than the fish in it!

Just a quick update. Yesterday I fished the same spot as I did last week and the ice is down about 1 inch so be safe out there. My spots still have roughly between 6 and 8 inches of ice but it's not the same everywhere so be safe people. This colde weather will help thicken it however so if your body of water is not yet ready, it will be shortly.
