fishing gear

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

That's my experience anyhow, and just stick with the regular boxes.
Yup that Bass Mafia box looks great. :)

You can also use those little packets of Silica that come inside packaging with new electronics. 8)

That's a great idea. If you want a fishing backpack, Tacklewarehouse offers one and so does

Tacklewarehouse bag.

Shomano bag. (This one is pricey...)

TBone,
Look at the walleye fisholauge bag by Plano. It may be just what you are looking for. Not too big yet holds enough gear for a off trail shore fish.

I have been eyeing up this bag myself for shore fishing.

I typically toss one big Plano (loaded with my fave lures)and a couple small ones(one with terminal tackle, other with specialty frogs or what have you) and a bag of soft baits/swimbaits in a backpack.
I like to just take what I need.
Yet in the boat, I take it all!!! Lol

Cheers

I actually bring a backpack AND a tackle bag with me when I shore fish. Don't even carry the tackle bag it fits nice and snug on my bike carrier I just have to put bungees on it to keep it still. I am thinking about buying one waterproof box for my hooks and jigheads that rust very easily, and keeping the regular boxes for my lures which I usually shake dry before putting them back.

I use this and it's been great for two seasons. The Seurat tabs are supposed to be good for 5 years.

Just thought I would give you another option. It isn't waterproof, but those blue dividers seem to keep rust away.

Personally I really like the slim series of boxes from plano.

http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/plano ... 2513p.html

You can typically fit about 1/3rd more into any soft side carrier. ie. a regular 5 box will hold 7 or 8.

I like bringing lots when I go out even shore fishing.

Just buy the blue anti-rust chips from flambeau... or open and leave em in a dry location when you get home... hang any feathered things.
