Millhaven brown trout fishing is quite a bit dated. Athol Bay (Prince Edward County) is a better option - get out early in the spring and fish 3-6 FOW. Can still pick up a few browns around Parrot Bay as well.

Too bad about the closing of the access to the dam behind the Legion. Many fond memories of March/April Steelhead. Not a very long stretch of river to fish by any means (basically the one run/pool)…..but a great option, since the season was open year round, unlike the popular tribs further west on Lake O, where you have to wait until the last Saturday in April. It's where I first learned how to use a CentrePin back in the early 90's.
The tug is the drug..
