Bass-Pro Shops - Rate of Exchange Question

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Those would be duties and taxes because the item was marked at a $200 value. You'd pay the same if you declared it at the border yourself, unless you were in the states for a week or so.
Yes that's right slushy, plus handling charges :!:

Customs looks after taxes too! CCRA Canada Customs and Revenue Agency..I believe it's called :!:

Bass Pro Shop - Exchange

Hey Foks!

Actually, CCRA has broken up to CRA - Canada Revenue Agency, and the Canadian Border Service - the pit bulls at the border, happy to collect and serve our Home and Frozen Native Land. Collect them fees, and collect them often. What the hell, they have a job to do.

Anyway, I didn't expect such a response to my note this morning. Many thanks to everyone for their opinion and "options". All appreciated.

Your are all a fine bunch of folks! And the best part - "opinionate"!! Who said fishing wasn't a contact sport! :D

Cheers to all,
