VERY POOR PURCHASE

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Well here goes. Sorry Markus I disagree with who, this is not about THE
business , I agree with the post ,that was warning US about a bad product
if that doesnt fit the site ... so... im sorry but I agree with the authur.
If I ever bought a product that wasnt up to our standards or, more importantly, if you ever saw saomething the same I would expect you would support the site and warn everyone, the heads up.

Rigger, I don't think Markus is saying anything about not discussing the product here. Just don't mention store names is all (by mentioning even the area of town it's obvious to locals as there is only one tackle store in that area). And the problem here isn't even the store he bought it at, it's the company that made the product. Furthermore, Joco hasn't even talked to the store he bought it at so they may certainly come good and offer a refund or replacement.

my 2 cents

If it's a bad product....what diff does it make where he bought it?????

It's the product thats bad....keep that in mind....

Spence,

You are really in a tough spot fella....alot of people have had "difficulty" in the past...it's like scratching an old wound....championing that fight may not be fruitful... bu tlike you said....out of your control so I wouldn't expect you to defend it....

Good luck joco. And your English comes across just fine. We always get your drift...

Rigger, I don't believe Markus said we couldn't complain about an actual product that we feel doesn't perform up to standard. It's just the store / business name that should be left out.

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

Hang in there Joco. Sometimes these emails go to Webmaster's first and have to be redirected to the right person. I'm sure you'll hear back from them soon.

Je suis heureux de savoir que vous avez obtenu le bon service. Merci pour partager.

Hi All,

Just some gerenal advice when you get in this situation...

1) Try and remain clam and level headed when trying to settle a situation like this. It is very hard to think clearly and convey you problem if you are flying off the handle.

2) Be patience. Chances are the first or second person you talk too will not be able to help.

3) Along the same lines as the second person, make sure you are talking to the right people. A cashier will likely not be able to help while the manager will.

My last advice is, all products have 'lemons'. Case and point is, read the lemon aid book for cars. Pick the best car in a category. Read the list of problem that you 'can' experience. You will find even the highly recommended cars have lemons.

I understand the rules on this site about not bad mouthing a business, but what about the companys that make the products. They are businesses too. I think both the store and manufacture in this case should not be mentioned or degraded as they were is this and other posts. If the people want to know the store and company name, PM the poster. I know we all want to prevent people from going through bad experiences but there is no need to degrade ANY business in a public forum as it is often done on this board.

That is my two cents...

Cheers,

Mike

Mike, I think this type of "degrading" is done everywhere, coffee shops, buses, phone calls, locker rooms, everyday casual conversation. What makes it different on a message board is that it's there permanently.

I don't see a lot of this on FH.Net. This is a common occurance on all message boards and we are trying our best to reduce it's frequency here.

hI probassing

I am one kinf a guy that would like to no if a product is good or not,,,,,,,and there is a tons off people that think the same way,,,,,,

You can read, bad comment for a product in ALL the news paper ,magazine....like consumers report,,,T.V. ....some site on the internet specialy made for this,,,,,,,,mouth to mouth, and we hear theme all over the place, about all kind off product,,,,,

IF a company,,do make a BAD product, its there probleme and do have to pay the consequence,,,,,,to bad for theme,,,,this is buisesnes,,,you dont satify the customer,SO just close your door and do somthing helse,,, :o

everybody chould have the privilige to no the truth about a bad product
,,,,,why chould we not tell and kepp the people buy there product and get stuck whit the same probleme,,,,,,,,,,, :o

If i had a company i would do everything to make sher that my product is good and i would take care off the customer,,,,,,,,,

I have NO probleme at all saying bad thing about a company and i will do it eveytime i do buy something is poor quality,,,,,,,,I wont let more people get some bad equipement,,or bad service,,,,,,,,,,,,,

i wont pm anybody for this,,,,,i will tell everybody,,,,,,,,,if sombody dont care about this, kind off info they just dont have to read it,,,,,,,,,,

WHY chould we HIDE the truth,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,to help bad company,or product
so they go and sell more and more bad product,,,,,,, :x

BY the way i did no some good sorce that my product is a bad conseption
the material is not good for that kind off using and and the way its wrap together,,,,,,,,,so they did not make there homeworke on this,,,,
they did not make test mabe in intense cold or ?..but that product is not good at all if its store outside in intense cold and you open it afterward,,,,,

but i will say again i had great service at the place where i baught the product,,,,

Joco,

I don't think anyone has a problem with you letting people know about the problems you have had....but everyone should keep in mind the problem you had was with the company....not the store...in this case the store came thru for you....which is great....next time you may have to deal directly with the company....

In the past year I've had problems with 2 products.....stores showed me how to contact the company and thats what I did...success in both cases but the length of time kinda peeved me off....but that's life...

RJ....Puzzle reader...

P.S. Can't wait to meet you at the ice derby....
