Honestly man, you think folks are trying to carve you for kicks, there is logic and reason behind these passionate people.

I see it this way....

you likely are conservation minded

you likely care more than you are letting on

you likely catch many more fish, and SO much bigger fish, than I do

you likely intend to do this for a long time

you likely harm some of these fish while they are on a stringer, certainly more than if they are in a well vented well.

so I need to ask, why not do the little things, and a makeshift livewell is included to increase the likelihood that other folks, or you at some later date, can take the same pleasure in the catch that you did?

Come on man, that fish is a treasure, a resource I hope to tap into one day. You are doing so many things right to find and catch these beauties... please help, if only to humour, the rest of us.

This is too easy to fight over....

RJ I fish there 4 times a week...never saw a flotting bass ever

You can't preach conservation to those who don't want to listen

You obviously care more about getting your ego stroked than the welfare of your catch.

It's ok to come here and brag about catching something but if you can't take suggestions on how to do things in a better way then what's the point. Everyone will admit it's a nice fish... however i would bet most don't agree with your methods.

So nice fish.. god help the others you catch if that's the treatment they get. We're all trying to give good advice on how you can make a positive change but rather than taking those comments and admitting things can be done better you take them far to personally.

My 2 cents... buy a livewell, take someone out with you who can take a picture... lose the stringer.. or take up golf !

You want to believe that live wells don't disturb fish???Size of them are to small for the most part yet some can stack 4-5 basses 4-5 pounds each in them. Take a body of water with wave a few feet high with a boat pounding every second on every wave and water gushing out of the livewell... Most tournaments are bass shakers...so what??? you guys want to stop tournament as well??? I guess you do!
