This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

:) The million dollar (CDN) question is... What are you comfortable with Wolfe?

Some folks will tell you that you've got to have the top of the line stuff, others can do it on a lot less.

For what it's worth I think that there's a lot more pleasure in telling someone you've caught something special on lighter tackle.

At the end of the day it's all about how you, the fishing magician, feel about your fishing experience that counts.

Some times I take for granted the valuable information you can get from folks on this site. I want to thank everyone again for participating in this thread and for offering your opinions and information on spinning tackle vs. baitcasters for muskies.

I haven't made up my mind yet about the next purchase...whether I'll get a hefty spinning combo or take that step over into the dark side ( ) and get a modest but adequately sized baitcaster combo. Comments regarding overplaying the fish have been well noted, and any who know me even a little understand a healthy release is my utmost goal when catching fish, especially muskies. This is good advice, and I'm glad it was mentioned.

Anyone who has a bit of free time and wants to post pictures of their tackle in this post, please feel free. Or you can PM me for my email and do it that way, if it's easier.

Thanks again!

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
