Well I have a 16 ft Sylvan with a 75 HP Honda. Great boat for what I do.

Had a Legend 151 Viper before this and actually liked it for the most part :!:

17.5 ' SS Classic ( Lund) with 90 hp 4 st merc will be here in 4-5 weeks.
Didn't think we could afford the Lunds until I starte dto shop around .Started off looking at the 16 ft model with 75 but my wife talked me into the larger boat .Now I know why I married her :D
I needed/wanted a boat that could handle big water ( simcoe ) and smaller lakes too, capacity of up to 5 people , durable ( aluminum) and towable ( aluminum). May try skiing too 8)
Plan on keeping it at least 10 years .

I have a 5 year old Legend V188 Sport Fish with a 115 HP 4 Stroke.

I find it a nice boat but would like to upgrade since I would really like to get a boat with in floor rod storage, drop in tackle storage and a larger aft casting deck.

I may have to sell the boat as I have been out of work for 4 months and could use the cash. Also this would give me an excuse to buy a new boat when I get a new job.

Last year when we moved hear my decided we should buy a boat! I wasn't going to argue with her. We had some extra cash from the move from Southern ontario to quebec so we decided to start looking. New was out of the question.

I thought she wanted a small tiller boat but no she wanted a comfortable boat we looked at them for a long time and the princecrafts where way overpriced or the good deals got snatched up right away. We found our 1999 Lund Epxlorer 50 HP Yamaha Four stroke for the same price that some 1992 princecrafts were going for and they had nothing more than what our boat has.

Love the boat but it is a bit underpowered but I dont fish the big lakes that much. The next one will be bigger and have a full winshield with a full top.

We can always dream!
