has anyone tried walleye cooked in a corn husK? I read this was good somewhere

also,I read to take your fish and wrap it in tin foil and place it in your dish washer while washing the dishes,the hot water/steam cooks it up pretty good, sound strange but if you think about it ,makes sense....havent tried it but one day maybe,just maybe

might want to try with a couple of junk fish first, nothing like detergent marinade!

well the other day Sobeys had some Orange Roughy so I took your advice and fried some up,very very good tasting fish.....not sure better than pickerel but damm tasty!!!

I love a good musky steak

But seriously (by the way that was a joke, I would never eat a musky), I love bluegills and crappies best. Hmmm its just about time for a fish fry!

Fresh yellowfin.
Mahi mahi.
Small pansized brookies no more than 12" but preferably about 9-10"
Whitefish.
Haddock.
Walleye.
Perch, but it's so darn rare I get a good meal.
Catfish from the south.

Crappies, bluegills, pumpkinseeds, perch. They are called PANfish for a good reason......Heck, even rock bass are very tasty! But for the rock bass, get them on ice as soon as you catch them, or they go very mushy, very quickly.

Hard to beat a shore lunch of fresh walleye fillets too!

And all of the trouts and salmons, and whities, and............ I like them all, pretty much..........

I did publish a bunch of recipes in my Fishing Pro Files, not sure if I still have them in digital format (if so it will be on a floppy disk and in Word Perfect, not even sure my machine can read that stuff....) If I can find them I could post them on the forum here. Or if somebody has a set (the last 5000 copies were sold/given away by OFAH) and a scanner, go ahead and put them up.......

Nice firm 2-3 pound lake trout fillets are great in fish crisp too.
