Inflatable Fishing Boats

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

hi guys

i do still looking for my first float tube..... 8)

i did a lot off researche.

my best find for a float tube was....the H3 or the super fat cat. but wow the price off those... .plus nothing close to here...so shiping cost to.

i have seens some good and bad comment all over about the day tripper....but now i see there 3 deferent model off it.so mabe it did change...they do look good and fun to play wit and not to bad for price plus there local.

it will be for some local small lakes etc...do have my kayak or canoe for longer run.

there also some little pontoon boat that would be cool....
to many choice.

we dont see many used once in those pontoon to.... :?

but i do like those new day tripper..the lp.low profile..400 pound capacity wow.

any comment on float tube or those pontoon could help.thanks

but do like the little pontoons.a bit higher for sight fishing.

You may want to check out the folding/collapsable boats.

Fish-hawk member Karma has one and he had it on display at the Carp show last April. Here is his web-site:

I have spent a few years working on various inflatables and even to the extent of buying two cheap brands before I spent some money and bought a good one from what was then Army Surplus. It lasted a long time but was made from rubber over canvas heavy type material hypalon I think but solid.

I worked at two shops that one sold a form of Zodiac, just another name same boat different color, and then I went to a Zodiac dealer and put together one of the boats the fire dept used. Also serviced RIB's with twin 300 mercs. I have repaired holes install cleats fixed transoms all sorts of things
Zodiac makes a very good product and I would recommend the model that best suits your needs. You are not going fast so you may not need a keel but you may like a rigid floor so there are a few different models to choose from and that may will help with the leeches..
