First, NICE FISH!

Second, I see some are talking about smoking their fish... I have two that I'd like to try that way (15-17inch splake). Anyone have any advise? (kind of a hijack i guess...) I have a friend who owns a smoker... but neither of us have any concrete idea on how best to prepare fish...

I know Ive caught a good one when Bunk stops tangling with bears :shock: and comes out of the bush to comment.

Doug I think that just convinced me to bring the spec over to Lukes house for a smoken. :wink:

back to S.M.05...........

There is still a fair bit of sugar in the brine I use. Maybe Luke could do you up a brine with less sugar. (I would replace the sugar with more soya sauce and maybe try ground ginger or something to add some flavour...)
