well i'm thinking about trying to get sponsored

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Start a Team. Start a University/College circuit. Get other schools involved.

Not everyone can be a Skeet Reese, KVD or a Big Jim in respect to winning tournaments. But as Justin pointed out you can be involved in the fishing industry.

More money to be made in organizing things than competing in them.

Walleye Man,

You have to be a Pro Staff for what you believe in...and only that! Don't
take on a deal just because you can get it and because it is available to you. Once you get into the Pro Staff scene you get to learn the other side of things in fishing..like ''politics'' for exemple. Be faithfull in that business dude...no mather what. Allways be accessible to others..take the time to talk to people when they approach you...be polite even with those trying to bash your reputation and the companies you represent...lot's of intimidation out there but keep your cool at all time...everywhere...especially on here and keep a positive attitude allways.

To be a pro staff you got to love the people around you even the ones that don't like you that much...treat the companies you represent like family..talk to them often take care of them and they will take care of you.
Do the shows..appreciate and be thankfull of what they do for you. Bring your ideas...show to the campanies that you want them to succeed.

Make pro staffing a fun thing not a job. You become a pro staff because you want to extend your passion for fishing on another level ..because you can't get enough of it...on and off the water!

And my best advice of all don't ask a company what they can do for you..but what you can do for them...don't make the mistake many makes by asking free things like free money or products...do something free for them first...they will then see that you are different from the pack..and trust me you will impress lots by proving yourself this way!

Why should I sponsor you Walleye Man?
He knows, based on your choice of hockey teams, that you can probably be talked into anything.....
