this thread is hilarious. i dont fish bass cause you could catch one with a cigarette butt on a hook and there is 5 pounders in almost every lake around. secret spots for bass, hahahahahahahahahahaaha.

i don't fish them on purpose and i still catch at least 2 over 7 lbs every year. 2 years ago i was fishing for walleye on Muskrat during a Renegade bass tourney and i picked one up 7.6 lbs about 100 ft from one of those 20 footers with a 250hp motor. i can tell ya they were not happy

Really? I'm reading this for the first time, and its the "Cleaned-up" version? I think you're using too mild of a soap.

Where will I be? On the water, within 2 hours of Ottawa, Quebec-side of the river. ALL the lakes within that range, that are accessible by road, HOLD BASS. (...secrets out. I'm sorry if I gave it away).

I'm with BA and 24/7 (and I've only ever fished with BA once, for cats): My lakes are MY lakes. They are MY success stories. If I post, on public domain, where I'm headed, suddenly there are new boats showing up regularly, figuring out my lake. Then what happens...???

If I can suggest a lake: Grand Lake, near McGregor. Good luck with the launch.
