Swimmer bitten by musky

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

i suppose that unless we know what a muskie bite looks like, we can't really deny that it could have happened

There have been lots of cases where a muskie has bitten someone and I wouldn't rule that one out, most I have seen photos of have been more distinct.

Most cases involve swimmers mainly kids the bottoms of their feet are not tanned and will flash white and the fish makes a reaction strike.

I remember one around 91 or 92 where a kid was bit swimming off a dock
near Petawawa It was a forrestry area I think on Corey Lake. The girl was wearing a ankle bracelet.

At one time I was editor of Muskies Canada's Release Journal and kept a file of odd stories involving muskies. I had quite a few on muskie bites.
I love golf it keeps thousands of unworthy off the water

whoa, your age is showing bud, that was actually 1981, i worked at the forestry at the time. no one believed it that time either but as a precaution they netted the lake and got a 15lb'er outa there. and it was just like you said. right off the dock.
