Harrassment on Hawk Talk

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I believe if you study the FH.Net rules & reg's, you'll see in fine print that harassment is strictly against policy EXCEPT when conversing with Moosebunk. Then it's no holds barred.

Just to be sure about something else.

Markus for sure is deserving of a ton of credit for his efforts to help us run this message board. His impact has been enormous. Thanks buddy.

I've said it before and I will say it again and probably a few thousand times in the future - the greatest amount of credit has to be given to the participants of the community. You come from all walks of life, shapes and sizes, ethnic and occupational backgrounds. You come together and share a ton with each other, not only in cyberspace, but more and more on the water when you get together and share your boats and your techniques and your spots and your stories and your laughs and jokes and everything else.

For sure it is the Community that deserves the credit and that is not just a piece of prattle. It is the truth. This board will be a totally different kind of board, and probably not one that I would want to be a part of, if the credit was able to be given to only a few individuals. It is all your posts that makes it tick.

And for that I say thanks to the people who come here to share their stuff.

I have truly appreciated the information , tips , advice , jokes  on this site but most of all the positive attitude that prevails .

I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the making it possible for those of all ages ( Pikie , my 14 year old son ) and abilities ( me , still learning  ) to participate and above all feel welcomed.

... Was new to the Ottawa area, and new to muskie fishing, ...on my first post was asking for info on the subject I was given a shore spot for muskie, directions and the technique to use by FH ... an example of the calibre of people running this site, and a reflection of the population on it. ... way to keep this site from being poisoned by low-lifes 8)

I haven't posted much in my short time on here, but I have done ALOT of reading. Most times, I don't even login - I just read. This is a wonderful place to broaden our horizons and to learn more about our great passion.

I too, am extremely grateful to have this site as a resource for myself and my friends. I hope the administrators never feel undervalued. Their respective work is appreciated by the regulars and the casual posters alike. There is so much helpful information here.

There was a comment about how congenial and friendly the people are on this site. I couldn't agree more. What a wonderful community you people have bread here! I urge others to continue to foster this comradarie.

Thanks for everything and please don't let a few bad apples spoil the opportunity for the rest of us.

Good fishing all! :)

Am I not taking you fishing this fall to get you your points for your team??? 8) Stick with me young jedi and your team may just write itself a happy sequel

Kidding around. Hoser you're right, I suck. Wolfe go no holds barred on me, come on, this could be fun. :P

I actually don't plan on getting my team any more points this year than I already have for my 10 inch brookie. That's going to be my only fish entered this season I think. BUT, what I plan to do is get everyone else off their game plans so they don't register any points either.

Smart eh???

And you Basss are our angling superstar, so get up off the computer seat and go hold up your end of our bargain. Points man, go get points. I can't always hold the team 2,3,4 and 6 monkeys back from catching more perch through the ice. :P

Sniff...

I miss my old teammates, FF, Bunk & Bassstalker (B.S.) ...

I got my arse kicked off the Screamin' Reels, I guess. :? Now Markus is stuck with me on the Husky Jerks. Husky Jerk: not exactly a name most gals would like to be known as. I am the #1 non-contributor, to date, as well.

Of course, Hoser! Who else can I fondly recall inquiring about making FISH SAUSAGES?! :x

(Happy B'day on Sunday, by the way!!) :D

And who wouldn't miss John as a captain? Always supporting and encouraging, even for the 10" smallmouths & 6" perch.
