Meeting people off the net

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ha-ha-ha, Gorf! I remember driving around looking for your place and trying to find you without knowing exactly who I was looking for!

This thread got me thinking....and I was trying to reverse the situation the other day and imagine how I'd feel if Brian got really into some kind of architectural forum or tool site, got to talking to a lass and arranged a meeting with her to hang out and talk shop. :? :!: Ha!!

Well I never worry because I'm always the one carrying the axe as those who have fished with me can attest to . Well that's those who made sure to bring plenty of grub to feed me . Those who didn't, well they've been recycled . A trapper never leaves home without his axe .

When I finally do go fishing with you guys, I guess I'm just going to have to show up with my Camillus Buckmaster's Gut Hook knife and Woodsman's Pal! Just to appropriate the axe murder stereotype

Yeah, it's been a while, was workin 2 jobs and had not been fishin most of last year, plus was peeved my lunker wasn't chosen on idol! I plan to be here now and again, nice to know there are old timers out there that remember who I am!

It really is a hoot when you try to explain to people you have found a fishin site and u actually get feedback from others on the site. Maybe I'm alone in this but I like to share my fishin info with others, I get a kick out of giving advice and havin people come back to me and sayin they got fish because of it.

That's what drew me here in da first place, birds of a feather. GTG, at work, next time.
