Dead Fish

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Just got back from holidays and missed all of this. But Before I left last Friday I had been seeing a lot of dead catfish floating around the lower Ottawa all the way from Rockland to Hawkesbury. I would see from 5 to 10+ of them every single day out since 3rd week of July. I also noticed fish of all sizes from less them a foot to 10+ pounds.

I saw a floater just barely alive at the lighthouse point in Dick Bell launch in Ottawa yesterday. Me thinks it'll take a while to work its way through the river but hopefully it clears up fairly quickly.
