Fishin' Machines

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I don't have a boat. My dad has a Lund Pro Sport 1700. It's pretty nice. About 8 years old but still works very well and was made of good quality. I love the boat, it's very comfortable.

The next one he buys will be smaller and less luxurious though. You really don't need anything more than a "Mr. Pike" or something. Just a bit more than a tin boat, and with carpets and a console, livewell etc, is perfect!

All boats are good. To be honest, they all get you to the same place, some just a little faster and more comfortable, but to each his own.......

Nice pics!

Looking at the E-TEC150HO(Wouldn't that be nice  ) before she hits the water....New lowrance X96 graph to be installed shortly along with the trolling motor. Still working out what unit is going to be up on the dash.... :?: Will put the old fish finders and bow mount on the Alluminum or sell it.

Ofcourse i love to have a bigger one so i can go to the big lake for trout and salmon but ...no $$$$

I had the pleasure of fishing out of a few Lowe boats in the past and must addmit they are one of a kind. When you have all the bells and whistles it don't matter how big of a boat you have !

Im gonna post pics of my boat when i get the chance to take pictures. Unfortunatly the engine just stopped working, so it's in the shop.

I have a 89' Edson boat with a 60HP, it's a side console, nothing really special, i have 1 livewell in the front, a 36lbs thrust bow mount trolling motor, and 2 manual downriggers. It's old, but it does the job for the amout of times i go fishing with the boat. I am mostly fishing from shore, and i catch bigger fish...

Pics coming right as the boat comes out of the shop

Hey guys, since my boat is still in the shop, and i said i was going to post pictures of it, and it dosent look like its coming out soon :x I looked for some pictures of it on the computer, and found some :) It's not the best, not close to it, but i guess it does the job...With a 60HP in the back, and a bowmount 36 pound thrust trolling motor :? And it also had downriggers, which i have no clue how to use 8)

There it is! It's a little old, would need some new carpet, but it's not really about the ride, it's about the fish you catch
