Carp, ON - 10th Valley Fishing and Outdoors Show

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I haven't seen a list of exhibitors, but I'd love to see Northam Fishing Lures and Bass Magnet Lures there.
I think you will be happy to hear that both companys were at the show last year :) I am not 100% sure about Bass Magnet but I do know Frank will have a booth at the show because my brother has worked the Northam booth previous seasons and will most likely work it again this year from what we have talked about.

I can't beleive some of ya have never been to the show before

Sad...........but true

If it wasn't for all the positive things that have been said about the Carp show on Fish-Hawk, I'm sure I would not be going.

I usually work one of the booths at the Carp show. I was in the MCI booth last year.

I love this show. Keep in mind guys Turkey season is 3 1/2 weeks after this show so alot of guys will be there buying gear, dekes, calls etc.

But JB's booth was off the richter last year...TONS of stuff. They must have had 100's of rods!

Best part is, that I didn't have time to shop at JB's during the show. Brian (the owner) shipped me the Loomis bucktail rod I bought and honored the price he told me at the show! How sweet is that!!!

Also alot of great clubs and outfitters attend this show.

MCI and OVMC will be there for muskie nuts, Delta for us "fowl" guys...
I am sure we'll see Al's and all the other gun retailers...including Norris.

Shame about Bennett's not being there...
Baitcasters totally understandable with a BIG move...new store looks awsome! (from what I see driving by)

+ you'll be able to get you Cash-Scam card...I mean boating card..

Many good things do come from this message board, that is what Fish-Hawk is for.

Bobber, is Fish-Hawk.net going to have a booth at this years spring show?

The weeks are counting down 8)

Well, I am actually one of those...I have never been to either show (Ottawa or Carp) until this year. After reading the posts and after receiving a few PMs I went to the Ottawa show. I got to meet Bobber, Karma, Big Jim.....I had a good time. :D
I definetly plan on attending the show in Carp. I heard this was a good show to go to :!:
I hope to meet a few more FH'ers there (being new to fishing and new to this site.)

I go every year. I'll be wearing again my "LeGrand D." cap (if anyone can see that high  ).

I'll be stopping to say "hi & chat" like usual to Adrian of Quaker Boy, Al & Skinner, and Mark from Delta (will certainly be buying my Delta Banquet ticket that day). And many more booths.

If you spot me, stop me and say Hi.

I'll be at the Muskies Canada booth again this year. Drop in and say hi. Dale Macnairs 57' x 33" replica will also be there.

Come see the MCI booth it was completely redone last year and looks great , lots of awesome pictures.

Can't wait to get to JB's....gotta start saving now

I have never been, but I do attend some of the Eastern Ontario gun shows as an exhibitor, with a couple tables kind of thing. No booth or fancy display, just some folding tables with goodies on them.

How much is table rental? Is this show a venue where a private individual like myself can sell/swap a few used guns and fishing tackle, or are the exhibitors primarily retail vendors?

If any of you have been to the Perth Gun Show, which is about 25% fishing and 75% guns/hunting, is this a SIMILAR show, or is it more like the Toronto Sportsmens's Show, which is really an exhibit for the big boys?

Finally, does anybody have the info for the show organizer?

Thanks for any advice.

THANKS!

I have contacted Dave via e-mail. It does look like it is more of an "exhibitor" show than a "garage sale" show, but I reckon I will find out more information from Dave.

Who knows, I might just be there doing my Gunny Appleseed thing...... 8)
