So Mike....Dude,Mike P wrote:Yes Jeff, that by far is my biggest inland Bow by about 6lbs. No other bites were to be had on this day.ratsotail wrote:Geez Mike, that is a beautiful fish. Is that one of your biggest landlocked bows? And, the story started off talking about specks....did you catch any??

The story starts out kinda' nonchalant and has not one iota of chest puffing or pride or excitement in it at all. This is an incredible fish.....
You are either one cool cookie my friend or you are used to being surprised by personal best fish almost weekly

But, next time give us a drum roll, a teaser of a story or more detail or somethin'

Good on ya' again and tight lines!

See you in two months.........Mike P wrote:Thanks Jeff, I`m kinda of a meat & potato type, straight to the point...although I`d share more storyline over a day of ice fishing!

Awesome catch Mike.........however, you're continuing the set the bar high for next year... You're gonna need a second horseshoe to keep up with this years catches.

Hi, nice Rainbow indeed. Congratulations! This Bow was caught in a only speck stocked lake. I have fished this lake for years and have never heard of a bow in it, nor in past years has it been ever stocked with bow`s.
I have kept, (except supper Smile )the remaining parts for the MNR, having a hard time getting a hold of anyone though.
I once caught a 13lb Laker in a Rainbow Lake.
And so the story goes that the Laker, as with others were probably forgotten in the tank (the run before) and dumped into the Rainbow lake.
