Huge Valley surprise

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Was there any fin clips?
No, none of the fins were clipped.

Yes Jeff, that by far is my biggest inland Bow by about 6lbs. No other bites were to be had on this day.
So Mike....Dude,

The story starts out kinda' nonchalant and has not one iota of chest puffing or pride or excitement in it at all. This is an incredible fish.....

You are either one cool cookie my friend or you are used to being surprised by personal best fish almost weekly :D . You're also a breath of fresh air for not boasting as well. I'd agree...one of the top fish posted this year.

But, next time give us a drum roll, a teaser of a story or more detail or somethin'  .

Good on ya' again and tight lines!

Thanks Jeff, I`m kinda of a meat & potato type, straight to the point...although I`d share more storyline over a day of ice fishing!

Did not see much potato on that plate mike...lol. You had room for another scoop I think!

Again well done and when are we getting out this winter for some trout action??
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

This Bow was caught in a only speck stocked lake. I have fished this lake for years and have never heard of a bow in it, nor in past years has it been ever stocked with bow`s.
I have kept, (except supper Smile )the remaining parts for the MNR, having a hard time getting a hold of anyone though.
Hi, nice Rainbow indeed. Congratulations!

I once caught a 13lb Laker in a Rainbow Lake.
And so the story goes that the Laker, as with others were probably forgotten in the tank (the run before) and dumped into the Rainbow lake.
